Programmers’ community Kottans.org announced the launch of a new free course Ruby on Rails, reports AIN.UA.
Ruby on Rails, or simply Rails, is a server-side web application framework written in Ruby under the MIT License. Rails is a model–view–controller (MVC) framework, providing default structures for a database, a web service, and web pages.
The course is designed for both, beginners and experts, including students, who want to deepen their knowledge in this field.
Classes will be held twice a week in the offices of local IT companies in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv. The training lasts six weeks.
To get on the course, you need to fill out a form on the website, complete the test task and pass an interview. Deadline for submission is October 10, and the test items – up to October 17.
BACKGROUND: Kottans Community previously conducted courses in Ruby/Ruby on Rails, C#/.NET and Erlang, as well as JavaScript. Graduates of the course work in Google, Amazon, eBay, Materialise, RailsReactor, Aejis, RubyRiders. In the near future, Kottans also plan to start a course on web design in English.
