A regional competition “The inventors of the Kharkiv region and the prospects for the realization of their inventions in the EU” will be on September 22 at Kharkiv Korolenko State Scientific Library.
The event is held as part of the EU program for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (COSME).
As specified in the library, the competition will be presented during the scientific and practical conference on problems of invention. It will be a preparatory stage to participate in the European program to support small and medium-sized businesses.
The winning projects will be presented for consideration by experts of the European Commission.
Participation in the competition requires a presentation of the invention or innovation project (up to 10 minutes). Inventors, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses, leading specialists of various industries, professors, workers, officials are invited to the event.

BACKGROUND: European program COSME is a set of thematic projects and programs for the 2014 – 2020 with a total budget of 2.3 million EUR. Ukraine officially joined the program in 2016.
