Ukrainian-American startup Galactic Exchange has received a $1.25m investment from Floodgate Capital and Signia Ventures, reports AIN.UA.
Start-up co-founder Kladko Konstantin said the funding will go towards opening a sales office in Silicon Valley and expansion of the Kharkiv office. The startup currently has two offices in Menlo Park and Kharkiv.
The startup creators claim their technology helps to collect the Hadoop cluster in five minutes. The basic service is free to small companies, but is limited to 1 TB of recorded data.
In September, the startup plans to announce its own app store in Big Data.
