Kharkivens launched 35 balloons into the sky to mark the birth of Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko convicted in Russia, coordinator of Kharkiv’s euromaidan, Vladimir Chistilina, said.

“People came to support Nadia. For many, Nadia is a symbol of the country, a kind of emblem or flag. On her birthday, we would like to congratulate her, not only as a fighter but as a person, as a woman, wish her health and a speedy return home,” added Chistilina.
According to him, people’s written congratulations were offered to her family.
