On Wednesday, September 22, the grand opening of the Honorary Consulate of Brazil took place in Kharkiv, reports the regional council (RU).
The new Honorary Consul Sergei Kutsevlyak, said foreign partners are interested in technological and commercial cooperation with the Kharkiv region.
“Representatives of the Brazilian producers are already working in Ukraine. Now this cooperation will reach a new level. These investments help to create joint ventures. I will do everything in order to get the most from this cooperation,” emphasized Kutsevlyak.
Brazil’s Ambassador to Ukraine Osvaldo Beate stressed he considers the Kharkov region one of the country’s most important as it has huge potential and there are all conditions to develop further cooperation.
BACKGROUND: During 2015 the foreign trade turnover of Kharkiv region with Brazil totaled $1.3 million. Kharkiv region have formed relationships with Brazil in the field of IT-technologies, cultural and educational activities.
