Ukrainian railways Ukrzaliznytsya plans to release a mobile app for ticket sales by the end of 2016, reports Segodnya.ua referring to the head of the Board Wojciech Balczun.
“The mobile application for ticket sales on smartphones with Android operating system will be launched later this year, and on iOS launch a little later,” he said.
The company also outlined a major change as they will create a position for an IT-director.
“We decided to create the post of Director of IT. I set the task before him – over the next three months to develop a strategy of information,” said Balchun.
