New laws have been introduced on the regulation of used cars in Ukraine. Now Ukrainians can buy them much cheaper.
President Petro Poroshenko signed the Law on Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine Stimulating Development of the Market of Used Vehicles, reports the Presidential Administration of Ukraine.
The Head of State and deputies-co-authors agreed the urgent amendments will be endorsed and approved by Parliament on Thursday.
The law allows buying one car until the end of the law’s effect, a resale ban and the car owner must drive it through the border personally.
“On behalf of the President, Parliament and Government, it will be fair both for the people and for the state given the necessity of funding its expenditures in war conditions,” Poroshenko said.
The President believes the given law will help ordinary citizens purchase a car for their own needs.
