On April 19, during the working visit to the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian Defence Minister, Army General of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak and the Minister of National Defence of Lithuania Juozas Oleksas visited the state enterprise “Malyshev Plant” and “Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau”. It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defence.
Honored guests got acquainted with the process of production and repair of armored vehicles. General Director of the Malyshev plant, Alexander Hlon told about the capacities of the enterprise and the problems of tank-building sphere.
General Designer – the head of state enterprise “Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau”, Jacob Mormylia familiarized the guests with modern developments and gave a tour over the factory workshops.
Minister of National Defence of Lithuania Juozas Olekas was able to vividly assure himself of equipment quality manufactured at the plant.
BACKGROUND: On April 18 defense ministers of two countries signed a memorandum on cooperation in the framework of which will strengthen cooperation between the defence ministries of Ukraine and Lithuania.
