A total of 230 police officers will marshal the III International Kharkiv Marathon.
Sergey Kucher, a representative of the patrol police, told an April 6 press conference that 105 law enforcement officers will keep watch over the roads along the route of the marathon., another 125 police officers will bear duty at points along the route. In addition, enhanced patrol mode will be introduced in the city.

“To drivers: do not drive in the center during the marathon without need. To people on the streets, where the marathon will be held; do not leave your cars in the path of runners. The police will have to evacuate them,” said the director of the Department of Infrastructure Sergey Dulfan.
The third Kharkiv Marathon will be held this Saturday (April 9).
