Citizens of the Kharkiv region will face just minutes, not days, for their applications to be processed with the dawn of a new electronic document management system.
February 25 saw the introduction of the system, according to the press service of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
It will be the first phase of the e-government system. As a result, all applications that are submitted in KRSA will take just a few minutes to process where previously it was several days.
The new system meets the European standards for data security through the usage of digital signatures. New equipment has also been installed in the relevant departments.
Deputy Chairman of KRSA Julia Svetlichnaya explained: “It is now possible to digitize the application of the citizen and directly address it to the person responsible for this particular issue.”
In the near future all KRSA departments, district state administrations and territorial bodies will use the system.
The good news is that the development of this program did not cost a penny of budget funds. “Foreign companies have developed a new generation of software absolutely free,” said Svetlichnaya.
