The Control and Audit Department will work in the Kharkiv Regional State Administration (KRSA) within a week as the chairman of KRSA Igor Rainin stated in an interview to a TV channel “Espreso” on February 21st.
The department will deal with internal audits of the financial activities of the regional administration. This unit will monitor all financial transfers carried out through the district administrations, regional government and regional council.
“Such internal audits are required to ensure the adoption of financial resources and be able to react actively to any problems identified in this process. It is an advanced option. Internal audit is used all over the world and we create the appropriate department in the regional administration,” Rainin stressed.
