The Kharkiv regional administration is going to cut 20% officials

As the press service of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration reported the governor Igor Rainin plans to optimize the structure of machinery and reduce the staff by 20%.

“We will optimize the structure of the regional administration system. I am convinced that to achieve the desired results and fulfill tasks at hand it is necessary not to increase the number of employees but increase their professionalism and quality of work,” Rainin stressed.

The governor intents to rise the officials’ work level by automating processes and workflow tranfering them into electronic form as much as possible. In particular, IT-government is already working in Kyiv. The implementation of e-government in Kharkiv region requires more efforts and much time according to Rainin.
