On Tuesday, January 12, 20 ATO soldiers were taken to the Kharkiv hospital. Volunteer organization “Sestra myloserdiya ATO” (“ATO sister of Mercy”) posted this information on Facebook.
According to volunteers, there is not enough space for critically wounded soldiers. “The hospital is crowded. The men are even in the corridors, in some offices. People in extremely serious condition are in intensive care,” was said in a statement.
In addition, during the winter holidays (6 – 8 January), 62 people from the ATO area were taken to the hostipal. There were people with wounds, injuries, infectious diseases, contusions. On Monday, January 11, 40 fighters from the ATO area were taken to the Kharkiv hospital.
At the moment the following items are required: bottled water, 5-6 liter (to sanctify on Epiphany) and water in small bottles from 0.5 to 1 liter, warm clothes etc. The complete list can be found here.
Also today, the volunteers ask to greet the fighters with the Old New Year and bring sweets, fruits and postcards. They thank all concerned who help those in need. Volunteers say that the hospital received two parcels from abroad (USA, Portugal).
