December 19th, the official opening of the main New Year Tree of the Southern Railway will be held at St. Nicholas Day on the Railway Square in Kharkiv.
About 420 branches of trees were taken from Zmievskiy forestry in order to create a symbol of the New Year. The tree is about 18 meters in height.
According to the press service, 84 decorations in national colors and 75 thousand LED lights decorate the Tree. A little train with the Monkey machinist, a symbol of the next year, will run near the Tree.
