The Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Aivaras Abromavicius, expressed concern about the increasing number of searches in the IT-companies, noting that “it is certainly not improving the investment climate”. A meeting with representatives of the IT-market is already assigned to discuss the situation.
Abromavicius also said that he had discussed the situation with Interior Minister, Arsen Avakov: “We will solve the problem together, and even attracted the business ombudsman. We will protect fair IT-companies!” Avakov also said: “Not all of them are such angels as they want to seem … this concerns both sides”.
In his turn, the mayor of Lviv, Andrii Sadovyi urged IT-companies to move to the city. “Welcome to Lviv! Taking into account the numerous “mask shows” against IT firms in Ukrainian cities, we are inviting all who are afraid and uncomfortable to move their business to the city.” This he wrote on his page on the social network Facebook.
Recall that in recent months, the trend of the searches in companies in the IT-sector, by law enforcement agencies, has increased. The following companies sufferd: Plaruim, Integ, NIX Solutions, and others.
