Project “Donation Week #save” starts in Kharkiv. Project Organizer – Committee on Social Affairs and Youth Health of the City Council. This was reported in its press service.
The mission of the project is to promote donation, raising the level of consciousness of citizens, regular replenishment of the bank’s blood, as well as creating a positive image and elimination of donor movement on the European level.
According to organizers, this project will help to increase the stocks of “social” (free) blood, which could safe someone’s life one day. It is also an attempt to make a donation to the society a good habit, to tell people the truth about donation and its positive sides. Another goal of the project is to inform and advise people on organ donation issues.
The project activities will be held during the second week of each month, starting in February at the Kharkiv regional center of blood service (Klochkovakaya Street, 366).
