Large-scale charity festival to be held in Kharkiv

A charity festival “Believe in yourself and revive the tree of life! Unique Ukraine this is my family!” will be held from Oct 1-8 in Gorky Park and in the Palace of Culture of the National Police, reports City Council (RU).

The goal is to stimulate and support creative teams of Kharkiv region and Ukraine, promoting patriotism and national values in the younger generation, assistance to orphanages, children with developmental disabilities.

The program of the festival:

October 1 (begins 11:00) in Gorky Park
Parade of children’s teams of Kharkiv region. It will bring together students, students of boarding schools and orphanages. Creative teams will present their performances, with a festive concert will perform theater “Children are the future.”

October 2 (begins 11:00) in the National Police House of Culture
The first day of competition in choreography dedicated to helping orphanages.

October 3 (begins 10:00) in the National Police House of Culture
“Day of the theater and original genre” to help the “Ukrainian Society of the Deaf” Kharkiv regional organization.

October 4 (begins 11:00) in the National Police House of Culture
“Day singing” dedicated to the defenders of Ukraine that are in ATO.

October 8 (begins 18:00) in Gorky Park
Gala concert by the winning teams of the festival. On the main stage will also feature well-known singers of Kharkiv and Ukraine.

The festival will be free of charge. Charitable contributions accepted: children’s toys and clothing for children’s homes, warm blankets and quilts for the ATO participants.

BACKGROUND: The festival is dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Theatre of the original genre of “Children of the Future” supported by the General Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region.
