Kharkiv Tractor Plant (KTP) started production of a new series of tractors for agriculture. According to the company, on December 9 was held the ceremony of the keys delivery of the first tractor with a Volvo engine (Sweden). The technical director of the factory Vadim Anosov handed over the first tractor with a Volvo engine with 240 horsepower to the LLC “Agrofirma “Repin”. The tractor was received by the director of the company Sergey Gorlachev. He also received a gift from the representative of the Swedish plant which supplied the engine to Kharkiv tractor manufactures.
“The new tractor of KTP became a top model in the range of the enterprise. Among the tractors with a capacity of 240 hp, the tractor with a “Swedish heart” is more efficient and cost-effective, has a modern tractor cab with a central seat for the convenient work with a modern symmetric agricultural implements and has twice more recourse of the engine,” said in the KTP.
