The Top-200 Ukraine project, which compares different universities and their criteria, has been published.
National Technical University of Ukraine Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) has become a leader of innovation taking first place. Over the past year, KPI has created over 40 startups, 29 of them have received investments from private venture funds and high-tech companies, totaling 573 million UAH.
Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv was second, while third and fourth places went to Kharkiv universities: V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”.
Fifth place went to the Lviv Polytechnic National University.
Top-200 Ukraine project leader Olesya Linovitska said: “Five leaders are recognized as the flagships of Ukrainian higher education and science, they are widely recognized in the world, are ambitious and founded their own development strategies.”
BACKGROUND: “Top-200 Ukraine” is the only academic rating in Ukraine and accredited by the International Ranking Expert Group (IREG).
