The Government of Estonia has removed restrictions on the number of airlines and routes in air communication with Ukraine.
Estonian airline Nordic Aviation, in conjunction with Adria Airways, will begin May 27, operating direct flights between Tallinn and Odessa.
The flights will be operated weekly on Saturdays with departure from Tallinn Airport. Lennarta Meri at 15:30, from Odessa International Airport – at 18:20 local time.
Unfortunately, flights from Kharkiv to Tallinn are not yet implemented, but the company Adria Airways also provides flights Kiev-Tallinn.
BACKGROUND: Ukraine is in talks about a common Aviation Area with the European Union in December 2007. In 2014, the Ministry of Infrastructure has decided to sign the relevant agreements with each country individually to get around the obstacle (inconsistency of the position of Spain and the United Kingdom on Gibraltar’s territorial affiliation), which blocks the signing of an agreement between Ukraine and the EU. It is expected that the agreement will help reduce the prices of air tickets.
