The new head of Israel office in Kharkiv – the Israeli cultural center – is Alice Liderman, the city council reports.
The previous head of the office, the second secretary of the Embassy of Israel in Ukraine Nelly Shulman presented her successor at a meeting with the first deputy mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov on August 11, and expressed gratitude to the city for three and a half years of cooperation.
“Kharkiv – a wonderful city, here works people who love it, and it is felt. I am grateful for the support provided to me all the time. I think that Israel is interested in well-being of Ukraine and Kharkiv, in particular,” noted Shulman.
In turn, the second secretary of the Embassy of Israel in Ukraine and the new head of the Israeli cultural center in Kharkiv Alice Liderman assured she will continue the initiatives the office is already engaged in.
“I arrived in Kharkiv yesterday for the first time, but I know that there is a lot of support from the government, and it is very important to me. We want to promote the existing projects and create new – for our youth club, for students,” said Liderman.
According to Shulman, a change of leadership of the Israeli cultural center in Kharkiv is planned, and she will continue to work at the embassy.
