The journalist added that former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Pyatt was confirmed by the Senate as the Ambassador to Greece.

BACKGROUND: August 2001-June 2004, Marie Yovanovitch worked as the Deputy U.S. Ambassador and was Charge d’Affaires in Ukraine. Later, she served as the U.S. Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.
