Free entry to renewed Kharkiv Zoo

Entrance to the Kharkiv Zoo after its reconstruction will be free, told Kharkiv Mayor Gennady Kernes.

“There will be no ticket like it is now sold in the zoo. If guests of the zoo want to buy animal feed – that would also be a good donation,” said Kernes.

In addition, the zoo will grow with new animals: a couple of giraffes, hippos, and polar bears.

“Our goal is to make the first in Ukraine European-class zoo!” says the first deputy mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov.

City authorities have promised this project will not be worse than Gorky Park, which entered the 10 best amusement parks in the world.
