Kharkiv higher educational institutions are in the top ten rankings for Ukraine universities, portal Osvіta.ua reports (UA).
The most authoritative university rankings of 2016 among the experts and the media were used as a source of data for ranking of higher education institutions: Top 200 Ukraine, Scopus and Webometrics. Each of them has a different assessment system.
According to the results of the consolidated ranking high education quality was proved by V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, which took second place and National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, that was placed fourth.
In addition, Zhukovskiy State Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” (12th) and Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (13th) were ranked highly.

BACKGROUND: Rating includes 269 educational institutions of III-IV accreditation levels. National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv is the undisputed leader of the ranking.
