From October 1 on the site of the regional council will operate the website section of electronic petitions, as Status Quo informs (RU).

The petition should concern issues related to the powers within the competence of the regional council.

The petition can’t contain incitement to overthrow the constitutional order, violation of territorial integrity of Ukraine, propaganda for war, violence, cruelty, incitement of ethnic, racial, religious hatred, incitement to commit terrorist acts, encroachment on human rights and freedoms.

The e-petition should contain the essence of appeal, surname, first name, patronymic of the author (initiator) of the e-petitions, e-mail address.

Deputies believe that for consideration of the petition by the regional council, not less than 5,000 people have to support it with their signatures for a maximum of three months from the date of publication of the petition. If this does not happen, the petition will be considered as treatment.

Now, these recommendations must approve the regional council session. And, in the case of adoption, the decision will enter into force on October 1, 2016.
