The Honorary Consulate of Austria has opened in Kharkiv, reports “Kharkiv. Comments” (RU).
Businessman and CEO of Agrotrade Vsevolod Kozhemyako became the Honorary Consul.
The consulate will focus on strengthening cultural, educational, tourist and economic ties. It will also provide protection for the interests of Austrian citizens who live or are passing through the region.
The newly appointed Honorary Consul said he intends to continue to develop joint projects in the sphere of culture, education and business.
“I believe the opening is an important event for both sides. Humanitarian missions, programs for young people – these are the areas which I will do in the first place,” said Kozhemyako.
The consulate is located at Dmytrivska street, 31/35.
