Five Kharkivens in top 100 richest Ukrainians

Well-known oligarch Alexander Yaroslavsky, who recently bought a major shareholding of the Kharkiv Tractor Plant, with a fortune of 727 million dollars entered the first seven Focus.ua rating (RU).

Besides him, the richest people in Ukraine were:

  • current head of the Presidential Administration, founder of media holding UMH Group Boris Lozhkyn (33rd place, $146 million);
  • owner of AVEC and Co Alexander Feldman (38th place, $135 million);
  • owner of the group “Agrotrade” Vsevolod Kozhemyako (47th place, $110 million). By the way, Kharkiv’s Mayor Gennadiy Kernes calls him the main sponsor of the “Samopomich” faction in the city council.
  • a native of Kharkiv, 30 years living in Moscow, co-owner of VS Energy (one of the major players in the electricity market in Ukraine) and the president of football club CSKA Evgeny Giner (54th place, $91 million).

It is interesting to note the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in this ranking took quite “modest” 8th position, with an estimated $679 million.
