Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (KNURE) is to open two new courses.The are
They are Information technology in the extraction and transportation of oil and gas and Automation of production, transportation and processing of oil and gas, announced the university pro-rector Stanislav Ignatiev, Status Quo reports (RU).
The presentation of specializations will be held on April 28 in the conference hall of KNURE.
“Ukrainian universities have not dealt with such specializations yet. But they work at Harvard and the leading technological universities in the Great Britain. Shell, British Petroleum, Exxon Mobil, Chevron are customers of graduates. Labor market potential only in Ukraine is 20,000 professionals, and in countries producing oil this number reaches 1,000,000,” said Ignatiev.
In the creation, the specializations involved several departments and two faculties. Practical training will be held at Shell’s facilities.
