The board of the State Committee for Television and Broadcasting of Ukraine (SCTB) recommends Kharkiv Regional State Administration (KRSA) to respond rapidly to the negative informational impact from the Russian Federation, reports the press service of the committee.
As members of the board of the State Committee noted, one of the threats of the informational security of Ukraine in Kharkiv region is the fact that on the territory of the Russian Federation deployed a powerful analogue television and radio broadcasting network that can receive television and radio programs in the Kharkiv region at a distance of 50 kilometers from the border.
In particular, in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation is deploying terrestrial digital broadcasting network. The transmitted power of the first multiplex, signals of which can be received in the Kharkiv region, amounts up to 5 kW.
Therefore, the board the State Committee recommended KRSA to envisage the realization of urgent measures to ensure coverage of confident TV and radio signals of national broadcasters in the areas, where such a signal is missed and respond to negative informational influence from the Russian Federation.
According to the decision of the board, the State Committee for Television and Broadcasting of Ukraine must prepare an appeal to the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting about the development of digital television in the Kharkiv region.
