PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” introduces the running of through-passenger cars (or through coaches) Kharkiv – Dnepropetrovsk – Mariupol from March 27, informed the press service of “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
Through-passenger cars will run daily from March 27, 2016 of the train set №795/796 Kharkiv – Dnepropetrovsk and №83 / 84 Kyiv – Mariupol.
The first group of through-passenger cars Kharkiv – Mariupol departs from Kharkiv on March 27 at 18:05 and will arrive in Mariupol the next day – at 10:59. Back from Mariupol departs on March 28 at 18:27, arrival in Kharkiv at 10:47.
Along the route the train will make stops in Lozovaya, Pavlograd, Sinelnikovo, Zaporizhia, Volnovakha and other settlements. More information about the timetable of the through coaches you can find here (UKR).
The train set will have two compartment coaches and three couchette cars.
Travel documents can be purchased via the official online service of “Ukrzaliznytsia” or via railway ticket offices.
Background. Direct rail connection between Kharkiv and Mariupol was suspended in July 2014 because of the antiterrorist operation in the eastern regions of Ukraine.
