A training seminar on the integration of energy efficiency projects in the Ukrainian communities was held in Kharkiv, the press service of the Kharkiv regional administration reported.
During the seminar, experts of the German Energy Agency DENA spoke of their strategy in the area of energy-efficient construction and gave practical advice concerning ventilation, heating, thermal bridges, materials for construction etc.
In particular, the parties discussed the implementation of mini-projects within the regional project “Together – in the future” and cooperation with the EU/UNDP project for improving of buildings in Merefa and Chuguev.
Director of Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Ukraine Stefan Moiser said the issue of energy efficiency of apartment buildings in Ukraine today is very serious as most of the energy is consumed in the residential sector.
Germany has 20 years of experience in carrying out comprehensive rehabilitation of apartment buildings, and is willing and able to share its experience.
