On February 23rd, a memorial evening dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding pianist Svyatoslav Richter, will be held in the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture. As the press service of the City Council informed.
According to the organizers, the program of the evening will include:
Grand opening.- Speeches of the guests (representatives of the Federal Republic of Germany Embassy in Ukraine, local authorities, the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture and the creative intelligentsia.
- The story by the evening host – Yuri Bokhonov (mathematician, Associate Professor Scientific-educational complex “Institute for Applied System Analysis”, the researcher of Richter heritage) about the musician’s life path, his contribution to the world culture.
- Video show, audition of the recordings of the great artist (compositions by Beethoven, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Grieg, Debussy, Richard Strauss, Rachmaninoff), demonstration of the photos and documents that have never been demonstrated.
