The government adopted a resolution on liquidation of the State Aircraft Building Concern “Antonov” due to lack of participants, which were transferred to another state concern “Ukroboronprom”, as the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine reported.
The Cabinet instructed the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine to establish a liquidation commission and organize the relevant liquidation group.
Kharkiv State Aircraft Manufacturing produces An-140 and An-74, as well as components of aircrafts An-148 and A-410. Since 2009 the Kharkiv plant has built seven aircraft, including three in 2009, and one per year in 2010 – 2013. These production volumes are much lower than the design capacity of the enterprise, which is 24 aircrafts per year. The restriction of the aircraft exports in Russia has worsened performance of the enterprise. The Kharkiv plant has the prospects to participate in the construction of 200 aircrafts of AN-178 model to 2032 produced by SE “Antonov”.
For the first 3 months of 2015 the net income from the sale of goods and services decreased by 33% compared to the same period of 2014 and amounted to 7 million UAH. The cost of production decreased by 14% in UAH equivalent.
