Due to the great drop in temperature in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region the work on the preparations of mobile warming centres continues.
According to the Civil Defense Department of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration (KRSA), in the Kharkiv region will open 345 warming centres. Among them – 335 stationary centres which will be attached to the medical institutions and social service territorial centers of population, reported the press service of the KRSA.
According to the published information, in districts of the region will open 310 stationary warming centres and in the cities of regional importance – 28.
As the temperature fell to 20 degrees below zero then after consultation with State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region (SESU) and Kharkiv military garrison – will additionally install 3 mobile and 7 tented warming centres.
In SESU check the availability and serviceability of equipment, tow cars, tents, mobile power stations and other equipment.
The tented warming centres are deployed in just a half day. Traditionally, they are placed at the terminal bus station, near the exits of metro stations and other crowded places.
The warming centres will work within 24 hours. They will be opened for the citizens affected by freezing weather and rescuers who liquidate the aftermath of the elements.
Recall that on December 31, 9 stationary warming centres attached to the regional centers worked in Kharkiv.
