Deputy head of the KRSA Yulia Svetlichnaya recently informed that the next stage of the regional project on training and employment in the IT sector for demobilized soldiers from the ATO starts in January.
According to her, members of hostilities will complete course “Software Testing, 3D-modeling and content management”.
Organizers plan to attract representatives of socially responsible businesses, in particular, IT-companies, involved in the implementation of the project as partners. One key aspect of the project is not just to train competitive and marketable specialists, but to provide real help in finding jobs for them.
“In addition to professional training, instructors also teach audience how to prepare resumes, pass job interviews. This will help them to feel more confident in finding a job,” said Yulia Svetlichnaya.
Recall that the project #ITRecruit was picked up as one of the winners of the contest “Promoting social adaptation of ATO soldiers”, which was conducted by the International Fund “Vozrozhdenie” (“Revival”). Kharkiv region received funding in the amount of 145 thousand UAH for this project.
Reference. 21 demobilized ATO soldiers became graduates of the first stage of the project #ITRecruit. The course lasted from 10 September to 11 December 2015. One member of the project is already employed, other participants will take part in job interviews for the IT companies, which will be organized for them until the end of the year.
