Today, December 18th, entrepreneurs from Kharkiv gathered for a rally at the Constitution Square.

More than 100 activists, including the entrepreneurs from “Barabashovo” market and taxi drivers, have put forward a request to the Verkhovna Rada not to accept the draft law “On creation of competitive conditions in taxation and stimulating economic activity in Ukraine” and to impose a moratorium on any changes to the simplified taxation system for at least two years.

“They offer us to obtain cash registers, the same code increases the fine. Our demands – to conduct real tax reform, which the Cabinet of Ministers announced,” said the action organizer, Alexander Chumak.

Participants of the meeting are going to sign an appeal to the Verkhovna Rada and the President of Ukraine with a demand not to accept the new tax law that will force many businesses to go into “shadow”.
