Military prosecutors of the ATO forces detained a senior investigator of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine V.Shakal, during a bribe. Chief Military Prosecutor Anatoly Matios reported this on his page on Facebook.
According to Matios, V.Shakal demanded and received from a Kharkiv resident a bribe of 45 thousand UAH for not to be prosecuted criminally. Investigator was caught red-handed. Cash was confiscated, currently investigative and operational actions are underway.
Criminal proceedings were opened under article “bribe-taking on a large scale” (Article 368 part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
