Kharkiv Customs started more than 600 cases of violation of rules

This year, the Kharkiv Customs opened 646 cases of violation of customs regulations.

According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the State Fiscal Service in Kharkiv region, for 10 months of this year there were opened investigations for nearly 49 million UAH.

From the beginning of the year, the Customs examined 295 cases, which resulted in applying the administrative penalty of fine in the amount of 4.2 million UAH. In particular, in October 2015 the service officials opened 77 cases totaling more than 500 thousand UAH.

At the same time, 126 cases (for the sum of 30.1 million UAH) were referred to the courts. Upon review of the cases, the courts ruled the confiscation of direct objects of violation of customs regulations to be paid in the amount of 7.3 million UAH and imposed fines for more than 7 million UAH.
