On the post of chairman of the regional council the party “Vidrodzhennia” nominates the current head Sergey Chernov. This decision was taken at a general meeting of deputies of the regional council from the party “Vidrodzhennia” on November 23rd. The candidacy of Sergey Chernov was supported unanimously.
“I am ready to join efforts regardless of the political beliefs and views on certain issues. I believe that the joint efforts may give impetus to the development of the Kharkiv region,” said Chernov.
Mayor of Kharkiv Gennady Kernes said that all members of the party “Vidrodzhennia” must work consistently. And solve together problems both territorial community of Kharkiv and regional residents.
As reported the site kh.depo.ua, the party “Solidarnost” headed by Governor Igor Rainin won’t nominate a candidate for the post of chairman of the regional council.
Recall that the first session of the regional council will be held on November 25th.
