Kharkiv big business paid 2.2 billion of the unified social tax

The State Treasury received 2.2 billion UAH of social tax for January – November 2015 period. It is 3.8% more in comparison with the same period of the last year, as announced Galina Fedenko, a representative of the State Fiscal Service (SFS) in the Kharkiv region.

Taxpayers paid 231 million UAH of the unified social tax to the system of obligatory state social insurance during October 2015. According to Galina Fedenko, it is 7% higher than the payment in October 2014. The largest provisions were carried out by “UkrSibbank”, “Kharkivoblenergo”, “Turboatom”, “Electrotyazhmash”, “Harkovvodokanal”, “Kharkiv Heat Networks”, “Philip Morris Ukraine” and others.

The head of the inspection noted that if a company during the period since September 1st, 2015 paid this tax based on the minimum wage of 1218 UAH, this company needs to make a tax recalculation based on the minimum wage of 1378 UAH (which is in effect from September 1st) and display the data at the social tax report for the October – December 2015.
