Exhibition of Lugansk painter was presented in Kharkiv


The personal exhibition of painter from Lugansk Boris Kostyanikov was opened in the Kharkiv Art Museum. It includes 40 paintings and 10 graphic works. The event was coincided with 50 anniversary of the painter.

Boris Kostyanikov is 50 years.  The artist from Lugansk region met his anniversary in Kharkiv. He opened his solo exhibition at his birthday. He told that Kharkivens saw his works for the first time.

Boris said that Kharkiv is his second home, his alma mater. He established himself as a painter exactly in Kharkiv. His best friends came to the exhibition. The exhibition presented his works made over the past 20 years.

“The works of Boris Kostyanikov are so interesting, emotional and lyrical. And if we once again will receive such a proposal from the painter we won’t deny him. Because today in this exhibition we saw mature master who knows how to tell about the topics that are of concern him,” said the deputy director of the Kharkiv Art Museum Larisa Obramenko.

“The sense of the roots and love to the native places is the foundation of lyrical landscapes of Boris Kostyanikov. The realistic manner of execution distinguished his paintings “Silence”, “Summer Evening”, “The native land”, said the organizers.

The painter Victor Chaus said about Kostyanikov that he showed his skills, what he is capable for and how he feels this world. It is important to appreciate those discoveries that he really has.

The solo exhibition of paintings and graphics by Boris Kostyanikov at the Kharkiv Art Museum will last until December 16th.
