A program to support business initiatives of immigrants launched in Kharkiv. Citizens who have the status of internally displaced persons (IDPs) can receive up to 225,000 UAH for the opening, rehabilitation, and expansion of business activities.
The Small Grants Program is administered by the charity fund, “CCC Creative Center”, in cooperation with the charity fund “Vidrodzhennya”, the All-Ukrainian organization for internally displaced persons. Grants are provided by Japan for the UN Development Program.
On September 9th, the first round of competition for grants began. There was an information session, during which the conditions for participation and the procedure for carrying out small grants competition were presented in the building of “Derzhprom”.
Regional Project Coordinator Viktoriya Cherevko said at the presentation of the program: “We are very encouraging, even to those who do not have experience, so they can create new jobs. In the end, we will select business plans and we work with them in three main areas – supporting the financial, legal, and marketing of the projects.”
According to the conditions, to apply for the grant, an IDP must submit a business project and take a training course.

Recall that in Kharkiv is already working the support center for business initiatives for immigrants from areas of the Crimea and the ATO region opened in Kharkiv.
