On August 31, the Head of the Department of Internal Security of the State Fiscal Service, Yuri Sheremet, has provided this information on Facebook.
“As it became known, the employees were detained for tax extortion of 50 thousand UAH for hiding violations of tax laws in the inspection of business. Investigative actions are already underway. The information about the event was added to ERDR (Unified Register of pre-trial investigations of Ukraine) and initiated criminal proceedings under Part 3 st.368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The officials might be put in detention and dismissed.”
Reference: In August, Industrial United State Tax Inspectorate of Kharkiv started an audit of one of the region’s enterprises. They revealed violations of labor legislation. The financial penalties of 500 thousand UAH must be taken in such cases, as informed by the Press service of the regional department of State Fiscal Service.
