Kharkiv universities will be able to accept foreign students without restrictions, announced first deputy chairman of the regional administration Julia Svetlichnaya, reports Newsroom.
“Cancel of ruling that limits the number of foreigners in our universities, will allow institutions to direct tuition fees, attracted by teaching foreign students on strengthening the material-technical base and, consequently, improving the quality of educational services,” said Svetlichnaya.
Speaking about the changes in education in the region, she noted that on the issue of reforms Kharkiv has full understanding and support of the President, the Cabinet of Ministers, and people’s deputies of Ukraine.
Example of the support was the intervention of the People’s Deputy Irina Lutsenko in the solution of the question of possible limiting the number of foreign students studying in Ukrainian universities.
“Thanks to the timely intervention of Irina Lutsenko, not only in the Kharkiv region, but also throughout the country retained the ability to attract foreign students to learn,” stressed Svetlichnaya.
