Kharkiv region paid 57,8 million UAH environmental tax since the beginning of 2016, reported by the Main Department of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region.
In particular, the local budgets received 46,3 million UAH, which is 12,7 million UAH more than in the corresponding period last year.
As specified in the service, 4,296 payers of the environmental tax has registered.
So, the environmental taxes are paid by economic entities that carry out:
- Emissions of pollutants into the air from stationary sources of pollution;
- Discharges of pollutants into water bodies;
- Waste disposal;
- Production of radioactive waste (including already accrued);
- Temporary storage of radioactive waste by their producers in excess of the special conditions of the license term.
BACKGROUND: The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the submission to the Verkhovna Rada of the draft law on amendments to the Tax Code. According to the project on environmental tax rates will rise over the forecast growth of prices in the industry, namely 10.3%.
