Company equipment manufacturers for the oil production and refining Kharkivmash reached an agreement on establishing a joint venture with Tundra Oil&Gas (Canada), reports the press service of the regional council.
According to the Deputy Director, Department of Economics and International Relations of KRSA Aleksander Lukashov, Kharkiv region Office in Washington became a platform for negotiations and the search for partners.
For Kharkivmash, it is planned to create a service center for the assembly and maintenance of equipment brand Tundra of the new generation. The project will improve quality, reduce production costs and strengthen the competitive position of the Kharkiv producer in Eastern Europe and Asia, and help it gain a foothold in potential markets of Middle East and North America.
Coordinator of the work of the Kharkiv region Office in Washington with the US side Shai Franklin emphasized the industrial capacity combined with high international activity opens up the prospect of Kharkiv making a real statement as “premier international player”.
