Educational Forum 2016 was held in Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, reports the “Kharkiv Сrisis infocentre”.
The main purpose of the forum was to enhance cooperation between public and professional communities with the state to make effective changes in the Ukrainian education system.
The event was attended by representatives of IT-sphere, businessmen, teachers, students and representatives of the public sector.
One of the main problems discussed at the forum was attracting investments to the education system in universities, self-development and attracting grants, not just hoping for the budget.
The forum participants also discussed the new law on higher education, the role of arts education in the modern world and the level of training according to the demand of business representatives.
Organizers note that this issue has caused a great interest among the representatives of Kharkiv business. According to co-founder of the charity fund “Kharkiv with you” Natalia Yakovleva, this is a top issue. “It is impossible to become a progressive and advanced company without an educated staff,” she mentioned.
The same forums were held also in Kyiv and Lviv. Now the organizers will review and issue a single document to be presented to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
