Today, a rally for the resignation of the government headed by Arseniy Yatsenyuk took place near the building of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration. About 100 people with flags and posters lined the Sumskaya Street, reports IT Sector on Vkontakte.
According to SQ, the head of the Kharkiv city organization “Svoboda” Oleg Debeliy held a rally. According to him, Ukraine needs a complete “reloading” of power. Activists criticized the government of Yatsenyuk for lack of reforms, privatization of profitable state enterprises and agricultural lands, confusing tax legislation and the pressure on small and medium-sized businesses. Speakers also blamed government for lack of anti-corruption actions and impoverishment of the population.
Demonstrators held placards with such slogans as “Resign the ineffective Government!”, “War is not an excuse for violence!”, “How long the government will keep on destroying the economy?”, “How to become a billionaire in a country that is at war? Ask Yatsenyuk!”, “The government of the oligarchs is Putin’s confederate!”.
In addition, these meetings were held in Lviv, Kyiv, Lutsk, Odesa and other cities of Ukraine.
Recall, today the government led by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has to report in the Parliament. The deputies are gathering signatures for the resignation of the current Cabinet of Ministers.
