The press service of the Kharkiv Metro on the official Vkontakte page reported that the Wi-Fi network has been extended for another three stations. This service is already working at the station “Universytet“, “Derzhprom” and “Naukova“.
Earlier, starting from the end of October, subway passengers could take advantage of Wi-Fi only on the “Maidan Konstytutsii” (Radianska) and “Istorychnyi Muzei“. It is planned to introduce the service on other stations as well.
Recall that the first deputy mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov announced plans to open a metro station “Peremoha” until August 23 next year.
Reference. In April 2015, within the framework of the Kharkiv City Council, the mobile application “Active Kharkiv citizen” suggested to make free Wi-Fi in the subway gained the highest number of votes. The proposal was referred to the city authorities.
