At the end of July 2015 IT-experts service recruiting topsdev conducted research on the number of completed orders in Eastern Europe. Ukraine was ranked first. Four Ukrainian cities were in the top 10 – Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv and Lviv.
The average rate of Ukrainian specialists is less than the rate of their colleagues from Russia and Belarus while the number of orders is more. The average hourly rate of Ukrainians in July was $20, while in other CIS countries it is $23-24. For six months period the average wages of Ukrainian IT-workers decreased for almost $2.
Expectedly the most active ordering country is the US, and the most popular specialty is HTML + CSS.
The study was performed on the basis of the largest freelance exchanges like Upwork, Freelancer.com and others. Previously we have published other statistics where Kharkiv has the highest performance of the order.
